October 15, 2014- Today the SEC database published St. Louis startup (and Arch Grant recipient) FoodEssentials is raising a Series A investment round and just closed a little over $1.5 million.
St. Louis’ based Arch Grants announced the recipients of two $100,000 follow-on grants Friday. Food Essentials and simMachines, both Arch Grants recipients from the inaugural class won the follow on grants.
The StartLouis meetup is a grassroots community of startup enthusiasts that was founded in late autumn of last year. Since then, the group has grown to include over 230 members and four sponsors: Lockerdome, T-REx, Schlafly, and Food Essentials.
