KYRO AI has launched Storm Call Center, a free application designed to help U.S. linemen identify storm-restoration opportunities in real time.
The platform gives workers a nationwide view of where restoration demand is expected to develop, allowing them to track potential storm calls before they become active.
“For too long, linemen, who are the frontline people that the storm response industry arguably relies on most, have been among the last to hear when and where they’re needed,” said Hari Vasudevan, Founder and CEO of KYRO AI.
Storm Call Center provides storm-call likelihood ratings at the state, county and utility level, with low, moderate and high classifications. Users can also view predicted storm paths and use a location feature to find opportunities near them.
The application can send SMS alerts when predicted calls become available and push notifications when live storm calls are posted. Linemen can then express interest in a call directly through the platform.
The service is available nationwide across the United States through desktop and mobile web, as well as iOS and Android.
Storm Call Center is designed to complement KYRO AI’s broader storm-response platform, which provides tools for crew rosters, timesheets, expenses, invoicing and funding.
The company says the platform connects utilities, contractors, linemen and working-capital providers and has supported more than $250 billion in program value across U.S. infrastructure initiatives.
Storm Call Center is available free of charge.
