2013 Arch Grants Winner Appcropolis has launched an online competition for developers using its product offering to benefit St. Louis startup Independent Youth.

Appcropolis is a platform that allows developers to easily create mobile apps that work across all devices. Appcropolis’ founder, Raul Sanchez was previously the project leader for the development of Hulu.com .  “I created Appcropolis because as a developer, I was frustrated to see how inconsistently web browsers’ rendering-engines worked at the time I was learning to code.  This gave me the idea for Appcropolis.”

As part of its competition, Appcropolis has made its library of templates available for developers to create a mobile website for Independent Youth, a nonprofit that seeks to, “empower today’s teens to become tomorrow’s business leaders and entrepreneurial innovators.”
