Entrepreneurs Unpluggd: Creating and Growing an Awesome Company Culture

By September 30, 2011

Entrepreneurs Unpluggd, which aims to bring budding entrepreneurs and seasoned veterans together, is hosting another event on October 12th at the Chopin Theatre in Chicago.

The event series, created by Stella Fayman and Tim Jahn, seeks to create an intimate and engaging environment for entrepreneurs to learn lessons from real experiences.

What sets it apart from other conferences is that the crowd is kept to a manageable size and the events are hosted in intimate theater setting so that the speakers are right next to the audience.

The next event will focus on company culture:

Startups are known for having unique company cultures, but how do you instill something so intangible from an early stage and keep it consistent throughout a company’s growth?

Learn from three founders who have scaled successful companies while making sure their employees always had fun at work. Hear about how a culture can change throughout the stages of company growth and which practices these entrepreneurs have adopted to make sure their culture maintains its coolness and consistency.

Speakers include:

  • Kevin Willer, Co-Founder, Google Chicago Office
  • Amanda Lannert, CEO and Founding Member, Jellyvision
  • Ed Scanlan, Founder and CEO, Total Attorneys

Early bird tickets are available through October 4th for $20. Tickets are regularly priced at $25; same-day tickets will cost $30.
