2011 was a monumental year for the technology industry. We saw the rise of mobile with more users browsing mobile apps than the web, Google entering the social game with Google+, group buying explode with hundreds of startup clones and spin-offs following, and the world mourning the passing of one of the greatest innovators of our time with the death of Steve Jobs.
