The Direct2Dell blog posited an interesting question: What Could You Do With A Simple Laptop…In the Past? (One assumes they also meant an unlimited power supply as well) I have to think if I had a laptop in the past, I’d follow the example provided and go back to pre-history and make myself a deity. Being a deity would be…awesome in a God-like way (I think). And having the unlimited power supply necessary to run the thing, I’d probably also have to invent firearms pretty quick to keep away the prehistoric savages clamoring to steal my “magic box.” On second thought, fighting off prehistoric brutes bent on getting my magic might not be quite so awesome. Maybe fight the Nazis? But then I’ve introduced technology into the recent past ahead of its time. But THEN that might be cool because the tech will be adopted and then by the time I’m born, technology will be way more awesome than when I was originally born….this makes my head hurt. What about you? If you had a laptop and a time machine, where would you go and what would YOU do? Let us know down in the comments.
