In-store shopping continues to get easier and easier with Aisle411.

The St. Louis-based company has just released its new Shops mobile application for both iOS and desktop that will help shoppers find more than 2 million consumer products in more than 200,000 retail stores across the U.S. When users search for a particular product, they can find which nearby retailers carry the product. From there, users can receive directions to the store, as well as the store’s hours of operation and telephone number.

Moreover, using Aisle411’s already existing indoor mapping and mobile search, Shops users can pinpoint the exact shelf location in the more than 14,000 Aisle411 partner retail locations. The company partners with leading retailers such as Walgreen’s, Marsh Supermarkets and Hy-Vee, among others.

“The Shops app by Aisle411 showcases how online to offline optimized product data can help connect shoppers locally to the products they want to buy in an elegant and easy-to-use mobile solution,” Nathan Pettyjohn, Aisle411 CEO, said in a statement. “…Aisle411’s location data platform connects mobile shoppers to in-store products and purchases that, over the next few years, will influence how billions of dollars are spent in stores.”

Aisle411 has continued its rapid upward trajectory, adding leading retailers such as Toys R’ Us to its platform in recent months. In April, the company formed a strategic alliance with Re-Vision, a Netherlands-based provider of mobile self-scanning solutions. The integrated solution assists shoppers in navigating them to products quickly, and offering personalized coupons and deals and promotions according to their account profile and shopping history.
