Liffo, The First AI-powered kitchen Robot, Launches U.S. Expansion with Kickstarter

Italian startup Robomagister announced today the U.S. expansion of Liffo, the first AI-powered, fully autonomous cooking robot. Following its debut at CES Las Vegas earlier this year and after raising almost  $12 million in funding in Italy, the company is taking its next step through a Kickstarter campaign, inviting Americans to be among the first to bring the innovation into their kitchens.

Liffo is the first fully autonomous AI-powered cooking robot that prepares meals without supervision. Designed to fit seamlessly into modern kitchens, Liffo automates the entire cooking process, preparing Michelin-star-curated recipes. It can recognize ingredients and learn new dishes, all through cooking scheduling via its dedicated app, which can be controlled directly from a distance on any smartphone.

Time for cooking healthy meals will no longer be a limitation for American households; its integrated cooling system keeps ingredients fresh for up to 24 hours before cooking, delivering nutritious, ready-to-eat meals accessible to everyone.

Innovation in cooking starts with time-tested traditional recipes, adapted to the user’s tastes. The robot comes with an expert-curated menu of Italian classics, plus vegetarian and vegan recipes. “Merging my interests in innovation and cooking to develop a robot that cooks automatically was a vision I had for over a decade,” said Massimiliano Delsante, co-founder of Robomagister. “With Liffo, we’re not just adding technology to the kitchen, we’re redefining it.”

Stefano Pedrazzi and Massimiliano Delsante, Co-founders and Co-CEO of Robomagister

Founded by Massimiliano Delsante, Stefano Pedrazzi, and other entrepreneurs and managers in the high-tech digital sector, Robomagister has rapidly built momentum in Italy with strong financial backing and plans to grow its workforce to more than 100 employees within three years. The U.S. expansion represents the company’s boldest step yet.

Rather than entering the market through traditional retail, Robomagister chose Kickstarter to build a community of early adopters and test U.S. demand directly. Backers will have access to exclusive pricing, positioning them at the forefront of a culinary revolution.

Speaking recently about Liffo’s potential, Delsante noted, “In today’s fast-paced world, time is the most precious currency we have. Liffo gives it back to you. By cooking entirely on its own, it lets you reclaim those hours and spend them on what truly matters — your passions, your loved ones, yourself. At the same time, we want to make everyday cooking easier, healthier, and more joyful — whether it’s an Italian pasta or a local American favorite. Expanding to the U.S. through Kickstarter feels like the natural next step: building a community united by a shared love of food and innovation.”

The Kickstarter campaign is live, and Robomagister is inviting U.S. supporters to help pioneer a new way of eating meals at home. Think of how households adopted robotic vacuum cleaners or lawnmowers: once people experienced full automation in those areas, there was no going back. Liffo brings that same leap to the kitchen.
