Chipworks Launches CloudCraze Powered Webstore

Chicago based EDL Consulting, the creator of CloudCraze formed a partnership today with Canada’s Chipworks. Chipworks has offices worldwide (Canada, USA, Tokyo and Korea) and specializes in reverse engineering and patent infringement analysis of semiconductors and electronic systems. By utilizing CloudCraze’s ecommerce product, the new storefront now enables Chipworks to deliver its research reports and new line of highly targeted report modules to engineering and legal clients around the world. “Of all of the companies we reviewed to help us strengthen our eCommerce offerings and best deliver our new line of perfect bite-sized research intelligence reports, EDL Consulting was the only one which both understood our specific technical business needs and how to develop on the Force.com platform,” said Gary Tomkins VP, Technology Analysis Group at Chipworks. “With great expertise, a long-term vision, and fast delivery, CloudCraze delivered a webstore that will help propel our growth forward as both a company and a brand.” The technical information that Chipworks provides is based on analysis of electronics and semiconductor devices or parts. These include everything from microprocessors to consumer products like video game consoles. The new Chipworks webstore created by EDL Consulting and its CloudCraze eCommerce product delivers a highly professional eCommerce experience to new and existing market segments, increasing Chipworks’ industry market share. Its flexibility and easy administration also allow for the regular expansion of Chipworks’ reports, services and promotions. “Chipworks’ customers are intelligent, detail oriented professionals that expect intuitive tools which allow them to go from high-level search and filter activities down to extremely detailed device and product content. EDL and CloudCraze provided the product and domain expertise to quickly and accurately satisfy those needs,” said Andrew Witherspoon, Vice President and General Manager of Products for EDL. “Chipworks’ choice of EDL’s CloudCraze cross-channel selling solution further strengthens our position as the premiere enterprise-class eCommerce product built and delivered natively on Force.com”
