California-based Nisum partners with Texas-based BigCommerce to transform e-commerce experiences

Nisum, a global technology consulting firm headquartered in Silicon Valley, California has announced a partnership with BigCommerce, the Austin, Texas-based subscription e-commerce platform.

BigCommerce helps facilitate billions of dollars in sales for small businesses and large corporations annually, and is one of the largest open SaaS commerce platforms on the planet.  Headquartered in Austin, BigCommerce has offices in London, Kyiv, San Francisco, and Sydney.

According to a company statement, Nisum has officially become a certified BigCommerce Agency Partner, meaning that the consultancy will now offer BigCommerce to the portfolio of B2B and B2C clients the company services.

Additionally, the partnership will also benefit BigCommerce in their expansion across the globe.

Nisum, which has a large presence in the United States and Latin America, will help support BigCommerce’s expansion in both the North and South American markets, leveraging Nisum’s expertise of digital commerce development, data-led strategy and insights, and expert teams of software engineers and developers around the world, according to the company.

“As brands continue moving away from a one-size-fits-all suite approach to a best-of-breed, best-of-need approach to modern tech stacks, digital experience experts like Nisum have become more important than ever,” said VP of Agency Partnerships at BigCommerce Daniel Fertig.

“Whether it’s consulting on digital transformation or implementing chosen technologies, Nisum has demonstrated an impressive commitment to supporting the needs of BigCommerce customers in both the US and LATAM markets,” he added.

Nisum counts a developer and engineering team of over 2,000 professionals spanning North America, Latin America, India, and Pakistan and has been around for over 20 years.

The company has served as a trusted technology consultant to some of the world’s most recognizable brands, including Macy’s, Kroger, GE Healthcare, and Major League Baseball (MLB).

Nisum will take advantage of their new agency partnership with BigCommerce to bring their clients the cutting-edge in e-commerce capabilities.

“We are excited about what this BigCommerce partnership means for Nisum, for our clients, and our prospective clients, said Martin Lewit, Sr. VP Corporate Development at Nisum.

“With the huge shift to open SaaS, we see potential to offer scalable, enterprise-grade, digital commerce solutions with superior customer experiences coupled with our advanced data-mining capabilities, world-class Agility services, security, and commerce innovation,” he said.
