The Life Cycle of a Web Page on StumbleUpon #Infographic

By January 11, 2012

When you post a link on Facebook or Twitter, it tends to quickly sink into obscurity after only a few hours. We’re bombarded everyday with shared content from email, and social accounts. Peer-to-peer is of course an affective marketing strategy, but across Twitter and Facebook links don’t spread quickly ( go ‘viral’), so the affects are short-term. StumbleUpon trumps other social media platforms not only in terms of link longevity, but also in the total amount of time users spend on the platform. According to this infographic, the average StumbleUpon session lasts over an hour in duration, while the average Facebook session lasts twenty-three minutes.
