Chris Heivly, the co-founder of Mapquest and the accelerator program Triangle Startup Factory, is considering St. Louis as a possible location and will be in town for Plug In2 STL. All startups, entrepreneurs and those with creative ideas are encouraged to attend on Wednesday, August 7, to help convince Heivly he should do just that.
With the burgeoning startup eco-system gaining ground in St. Louis, this would be another big win for the community to offer and attract even more aspiring entrepreneurs. This accelerator is an intensive, 12-week program, where selected early stage startup companies receive $50,000 in seed capital, hands-on mentorship, and access to its vast network.
This networking evening will include free beer and music, plus food trucks will be offering great food for purchase. You can also register for a hard hat tour of the brand new @4240 building. Once completed, it will be a state-of-the-art, sustainable, multi-tenant lab and research facility.
The hard hat tour has limited availability and is expected to fill up fast. You can register for both the networking event and hard hat tour using eventbrite by clicking here.
