University of Cincinnati to host 7th annual Analytics Summit

The Analytics Summit returns to the University of Cincinnati campus in southwest Ohio for its seventh straight year at the university’s acclaimed Center for Business Analytics.

From May 14 to 16, the event will see business leaders and experts discuss the fundamental need for analytics in all industries.

“With laser focus, our purpose at the Center, and with our Analytics Summit, is to support the growth, understanding and development of the use of analytics in business, government and non-profit organizations,” said Glenn Wegryn, UC Center for Business Analytics’ Executive Director. “We do this with a combination of world-class education; hands-on and intensive events like the Summit; and networking with some of the best minds in the industry across a wide range of industries.”

This year’s edition will feature a trio of keynote speakers: Cameron Davies, the Senior Vice President Analytics and Strategy at NBC Universal; Bill Franks, Chief Analytics Officer at the International Institute for Analytics; and Director of Global Insights and Analytics at Ford Motor Company Craig Brabec. Also featured in the event lineup are technical training sessions, a managerial forum, and all-day session tracks.

The summit is divided into a pair of training days and one conference day, according to a university press release:
