The Smarteys Way: An Online Financial Education Series

written by marian Mangoubi

As an entrepreneur, you have probably often heard that most small businesses fail within the first two to five years of its existence. There are many reasons why this happens. A common thread tends to be a lack of financial knowledge. But what if you could minimize your risk by learning more about how to read and analyze your business’ cash flows? You would do it, right?

Marian Mangoubi, Founder of Sassy CEO, LLC, Charisse Conanan and Adrissha Wimberly, Co-Founders of Smarteys, LLC, believe you would. They know that knowledge is power. They also understand that there is a BIG difference between personal finances and a startup’s finances. This belief prompted them to join forces to create four online classes — The SMARTEYS WAY — to help entrepreneurs increase their own financial knowledge.

The four classes include:

Tuesday, May 3rd: Managing A Startup’s Cash Flows
Tuesday, May 10th: Data’s Role in Financial Decision Making
Tuesday, May 17th: Making Financial Projections
Tuesday, May 24th: Creative Financing Strategies

Each class will be held in the evening. There is a charge for each class or you can purchase a package. A portion of your fee will also go to help build an angel fund for women tech entrepreneurs and low income women entrepreneurs in the community. So by participating in these classes you gain valuable knowledge while helping support other entrepreneurs.
