Startup Voodoo Competition Open NOW: $10K Prize Package

On June 18, 2015, Startup Voodoo will host its 2nd annual conference for thought leaders and the startup ecosystem at the Lumiere Hotel in St. Louis Missouri.

Part of the conference is the ‘Most Promising‘ competition where startups from around the country compete to win prize package worth $10,000 and funded generously by Daugherty Business Solutions.  The prize package includes $5,000 cash, 10 hours of free legal services from the Polsinelli law firm, 10 hours of free marketing from Elasticity and new coverage in Techli.

Last year saw hundreds of applicants from around the country apply and in the end was this: LearnCore named Most Promising at Startup Voodoo.

The rules are as follows:

1. Startup must be less than two years in operation

2. No more than $150K in funding

3. Business focused on digital technology, bioscience or ag-tech spaces

After all applications are received, here is how the winner is selected:

Using the outlined criteria above, nominate your choice for Most Promising (Yes, you can nominate your own startup)

A Startup Voodoo panel of judges will cull each city’s nominations down to a Top 5 Most Promising Startups

In mid-May, Startup Voodoo will present the top Midwestern startups by city and you can vote for the Most Promising

On June 18 at Startup Voodoo in St. Louis, the winning startups from each city will be announced and the Top 3 will pitch their case to the Startup Voodoo panel of judges during the conference

Just prior to the afternoon keynote, Startup Voodoo’s Most Promising 2015 will be named and awarded $5,000 and be connected with our vendors for a total prize package worth $10,000.
