Show Me SXSW for FREE!!!

Enter a 60 second video explaining why your startup should go to SXSW on our dime! Missouri is looking for its newest and most innovative startups to represent the Show Me State in Austin!

With Subject Line “SXSW Video Contest: [Your Name/Team]”, email showmesxsw@startupmo.org a hyperlink to a 60 second or less YouTube video, alongside 140 or less characters describing your startup. The video will be posted on this event page with the 140 or less characters for public voting.  It should outline who you are, what you do, and why you should represent Missouri’s startup scene in Austin this year.  Share it with everyone across all social media, blogs, and websites to increase your chances of winning! Is your startup worthy of bus, badge, and board for FREE?

Videos exceeding 60 seconds or not via a YouTube link, or Descriptions exceeding 140 characters will NOT be posted. Once emailed, it will be reviewed by our staff within 24 hours and then uploaded to this event page for public voting. Submissions will be accepted from February 21st to midnight of February 28th, which will also end public voting. Two startups will be selected: one publicly by popular vote, another privately by our judges (a panel of industry experts). The winning startups send one team member each for a free ride on the bus to and from Austin, a free SXSW Interactive Badge, and a free place to stay. Show us what you got, Show Me State!
