The Branson/Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce will host job fairs in Puerto Rico during February 12-16, featuring several southwest Missouri companies recruiting for various positions in the hospitality and healthcare fields.
The Nursing Positions are full-time and permanent, with competitive benefits including health and dental insurance, an on-site daycare and competitive wages.
CoxHealth, a regional hospital system in southwest Missouri, is seeking experienced nurses and graduate nurses for its hospitals. It is seeking healthcare professionals from Puerto Rico who are looking for a challenging career in a friendly environment and interested in making a difference in the lives of others.
The hospital is interested in interviewing nurses with or without their NCLEX credentials. Upon the signing a contractual work agreement and complying with other pre-employment screenings and procedures, CoxHealth will pay for individual travel from Puerto Rico to Branson, will arrange for housing and transportation to and from the work site, and are offering full-time, permanent positions.

The hospitality positions are full-time, seasonal for the Branson season of April to December, with some positions being year-round, depending on the position and company.
Companies like Big Cedar Lodge, Express Employment Professionals, and Welk Resorts will seek candidates in various positions for the Hospitality industry in Branson, Missouri, including housekeepers, groundskeepers, dishwashers, cooks and culinary opportunities. Interested candidates are encouraged to attend an event to speak with a recruiter and apply for open positions.
Branson has many employers who are authorized by the Dept. of Labor in Puerto Rico to recruit from the island. Upon the signing a contractual work agreement and complying with any employer-specific pre-employment screenings and procedures, the employer of choice will pay for travel from Puerto Rico to Branson, will arrange for housing in Branson and transportation to and from the work site, and are offering full-time, permanent and seasonal positions.
The ideal candidate must be interested in locating to Branson, MO on a seasonal or permanent basis and be willing to perform the job for which they were recruited for a minimum of 90 days to be considered for other positions.
All companies are authorized to recruit in Puerto Rico through the Department of Labor and Human Resources and are obligated to comply with PL.87. Through this agreement, participating companies will offer housing options and transportation for candidates who accept positions in southwest Missouri, including paid airfare and travel to Springfield or Branson, Missouri for the job, as well as other perks and amenities.
Spanish-speaking representatives will be available on site to answer any questions about the positions and the experience of living and working in southwest Missouri.
Candidates for all positions must be registered with any American Job Center (Employment Services) in Puerto Rico to be eligible and should arrive with their American Job Center membership ID card, if possible.
