Drink Deck hits Chicago- App to Follow?

by Benjamin J. Pavlovic

Toasts were made, bongos were played and PuPus were consumed as Drink Deck held an exclusive media preview last Thursday at Trader Vic’s in Chicago. Entrepreneur and Drink Deck founder Will Glass was holding court and dealing Drink Deck blackjack to members of the press and some of Chicago’s grandest social media movers and shakers. Katy Lynch (WhereI’veBeen.com and Socialkaty.com), Amy Ravit Korin (Interactiveamy.com), Jen Luby (Second City Soiree), Theresa Carter (The Local Tourist) and Edward Domain (Flyovergeeks.com) all tried their luck against the house.

The successful Chicago start-up launched the highly anticipated second edition of the popular deck of cards that serves as $10 gift cards to 52 of Chicago’s best bars. A collective savings of $520, Drink Deck is the bar enthusiast’s ultimate pocket travel guide to Chicago with no expiration date.

Time Out Chicago, The Local Tourist, Chicago Chinese News, The Chicago Collection, Windy City News, The May Report and Chicagonista were all there to cover the event.

Drink Deck’s public launch will be held at Motel Bar on September 8th from 6-8 p.m. Please RSVP here, and stop by for some good times, complimentary appetizers, beer and cocktails. And don’t forget to grab a Drink Deck for a friend – it makes for a great gift or stocking stuffer.
