Personnel changes are afoot at Kanata North Business Association, as the Canadian tech organization continues to bolster its leadership team.
Specifically, Victoria McGlone, a former Sales Director in the region, has been recruited as Kanata North Business Association’s Chief Operating Officer.
Prior to KNBA, McGlone was the Director of Sales at Veem and the Director of Sales at InitLive.
Said McGlone via her LinkedIn profile, “My 6 month sabbatical has officially come to an end and I begin my full-time role at Kanata North Business Association tomorrow! I am so grateful to have been able to spend this time with my husband and children but I’m now feeling ready and excited about returning to work. Here’s to the next chapter!”
Kanata North Business Association is an important part of Ottawa’s economic development future and oversees the country’s largest technology park.
The organization works to identify shared local concerns and work with members; facilitate community collaboration projects to increase Kanata North’s ability to attract new businesses and new talent; promote Kanata North as an attractive business environment; create an eco-system of local businesses to support business needs; and provide representation as part of the City of Ottawa through a more productive relationship with politicians and development officials.
Said the organization, “Not only does Victoria bring with her a wealth of knowledge and experience in sales, but also a fresh perspective, which will allow us to move forward with a clear vision for the future.”
As always, watch this space.
